Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing Crate Gourmet for your gift basket and subscription box needs! We are committed to ensuring that your order arrives safely and on time, so you can send the perfect package with confidence. Below are the details of our shipping policy:
Processing Time
As a small business, we personally handle every step of the order fulfillment process to ensure quality and care in every package. Because of this, orders are processed within 5–15 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
This processing time allows us to:

Carefully prepare and package your items by hand,

Manage order volumes with a small (but mighty!) team, and

Maintain quality standards without outsourcing or rushing the process.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Time
We offer Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days (depending on destination).
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on factors like weather, holidays, and carrier delays.
Shipping Rates
Shipping fees free with every order.
International Shipping
Currently, we only ship to Canadian addresses. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to check the status of your delivery.
Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military addresses.
Delivery Issues
If your shipment is delayed, damaged, or lost in transit, please contact us immediately at crategourmet@gmail.com. We will work with the carrier to resolve any issues and ensure your package arrives as intended.
Holiday Shipping
During peak holiday seasons, please allow for additional processing and shipping time. We recommend placing orders at least 15-20 days before a major holiday to ensure timely delivery.
Return & Exchange Policy
At Crate Gourmet, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their experience. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please review our returns and refund policy below:
Subscription Box Refunds
Due to the nature of subscription boxes, we do not offer refunds for opened or used products. However, if there is an issue with your subscription box, such as a damaged product, or incorrect contents, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your box. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Subscription Cancellations
Monthly Subscriptions: You can cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date. To avoid being charged for the next month's box, please cancel at least 5 days before your billing date.
Prepaid Subscriptions: For prepaid subscriptions (i.e., 3, 6, or 12-month plans), cancellations are accepted at any time, but refunds are not available for unused months.
To cancel your subscription, simply log into your account or contact our customer support team at crategourmet@gmail.com.
Damaged Products
If you receive a box with damaged, defective, or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos of the damaged items or packaging in order to process your claim.
If the item is damaged, we will issue a replacement for the damaged product.
Returns
Due to the personal and curated nature of our subscription boxes, we do not accept returns on opened or used items. If you receive a product that is unopened, unused, and in resellable condition, please contact us to discuss your situation.
- If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The item must be returned in original, unused condition.
- Returns are only accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery.
Refund Process
Once we approve a return or refund request, the process typically takes 5-10 business days to complete. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds for prepaid subscriptions will be prorated based on the number of boxes you’ve received.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Opened or used products
- Subscription boxes that have already been delivered and opened
